What is CNC Milling?
CNC milling is the programming and subsequent control of a milling machine by a computer system. The machine is traversing, and monitoring, under the control of a computer programme. CNC milling in 3, 4 & 5 axis allows the manufacture of geometrically complex components, to extremely tight tolerances.
Milling Capabilities
LSR Engineering have invested in state-of-the-art CNC milling technology, enabling us to manufacture complex, precision components, meeting quality requirements at all times. Working closely with our clients, we are able to manufacture components and assemblies on a prototype, small and medium batch basis.
We have a wide range of Vertical Machining Centres, offering 3 and 4 Axis capability. We are conversant in the machining of ferrous, non-ferrous and exotic materials, along with engineering plastics.
Our investment in hardware is supported by significant investment in CADCAM software, allowing multi-axis offline programming to support complex component manufacture.
